Welcome to your daily Le Mans Ultimate briefing, brought to you by Clockwerk Radio. Here's everything you need to know for today — what to race, what to drive, how to set it up, and what's on the horizon.

šŸ—“ļø This Week's Racing Schedule

The weekly RaceControl schedule reset this morning at 10am UTC, bringing a fresh batch of daily races across all three skill tiers — Beginner, Intermediate, and Advanced. Races run nearly every hour throughout the day, so there's always a session to jump into. Head to lmuraces.com for live countdown timers in your local timezone.

The 2026 Season 1 GT3 championship is also live on RaceControl right now — perfect if you want structured, competitive racing with a championship standings ladder to climb.

šŸš— Car Spotlight — Which Class Should You Race Today?

HYPERCARS: If you want the full WEC experience, the Hypercar class is where it's at. The Ferrari 499P, Toyota GR010, Porsche 963, Alpine A424, Cadillac V-Series.R, and Aston Martin Valkyrie are all on track. These cars rely heavily on aerodynamics and hybrid energy deployment — small setup tweaks have massive effects.

LMGT3: The most populated class online and the one with the most variety. Ferrari 296, BMW M4, McLaren 720S, Corvette Z06, Porsche 911, Ford Mustang, Lamborghini Huracan, and the newly added Mercedes-AMG GT3 — take your pick. GT3 cars reward smooth tyre management and consistent lap times over single-lap pace.

LMP2 / LMP3: If you want a more raw, mechanical challenge, the Oreca 07 LMP2 and the LMP3 class deliver intense prototype action with less hybrid complexity.

šŸ”§ Setup Tip of the Day — Get Faster Tonight

Today's tip: Brake Bias. This single setting can transform your lap time and your race. Move the bias forward (higher number) if the rear is locking under braking — you'll feel it as the back stepping out when you trail the brakes into a corner. Move it rearward if the fronts are locking and you're running wide.

In LMGT3, most cars work well around 55–58% front bias for general racing. In Hypercars, the hybrid system interacts with the braking balance, so you may need to adjust depending on how much regen you're running on corner entry. Start conservative and work outward from there.

ā±ļø Lap Time Benchmarks — Where Do You Stack Up?

Here are the community benchmarks to aim for in LMGT3 this week: Monza — sub 1:51 is competitive at intermediate level. Spa-Francorchamps — sub 2:18 is solid. Le Mans (Circuit de la Sarthe) — sub 3:55 is a strong benchmark. Remember: consistent, clean laps always beat chasing a single fast time. Crashing out while pushing too hard earns nothing.

šŸ“° Latest LMU News — Version 1.3 Coming End of March

Version 1.3 is expected to land at the end of March 2026, and it could be the biggest update yet. Studio 397 has hinted at a Career Mode arriving in Q1 2026 — something the community has been asking for since launch. The update is also expected to bring a revised Hypercar tyre model, which should make setup work more realistic and rewarding.

Also expected: the final piece of the ELMS DLC, including Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya and the Duqueine D09 LMP3. The community is buzzing — this is shaping up to be a massive month for LMU.
